Electric hoist is actually a type of overhead crane that is produced in three-phase and rarely in single-phase. Electric hoists for lifting and carrying loads need a roof support, which can be designed as a hook or a ceiling rail depending on whether the electric crane is double or quadruple. Electric cranes are produced both as chains and as wire rope, whose chain models have the most extensive use compared to tow wire models. Overhead hoists are used for lifting loads from 1 to 60 tons, which also covers electric chain cranes for lifting up to 10 tons and electric chain hoists for lifting loads up to 60 tons.
